Gun Safety

If you are reading this blog, chances are you are either upgrading your current 10/22® or building one from the ground up. Gun safety is critical during both processes. Below are the Safety Instructions and Rules we include in our AZTP-22 Instruction Manual.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN DISASSEMBLY OF YOUR 10/22® TYPE RIFLE OR BEGIN ASSEMBLING A RIFLE USING AZIMUTH PRECISION22 COMPONENTS, THE FOLLOWING RULES MUST BE OBSERVED AND STRICTLY APPLIED AT ALL TIMES TO INSURE YOUR SAFETY AND THE SAFETY OF THOSE AROUND YOU. Gun safety is something that must be in the forefront of our minds at all times. Below are the 4 Primary Rules Of Gun Safety:

  • All guns are always loaded.
  • Never let the muzzle cross anything you are not willing to destroy.
  • Keep your finger off the trigger until you are on target and ready to fire.
  • Be sure of your target and beyond.

The National Shooting Sports Foundation produced a video covering the four main rules of gun safety along with a few other common sense rules to remember. Watch the instructional video here.

At all times, be safe.
